Do you know when Ricoh officially launched the industrial inkjet RICOH TH6310F ?

Ricoh today announced the RICOH TH6310F print head, a new industrial inkjet printhead featuring thin-film piezoelectric actuators, a key component system for digital printing. The sprinkler will be available worldwide from November 23, 2021.

The new Ricoh TH6310F printhead will be launched as the flagship model of Ricoh's industrial inkjet printheads. With its high firing frequency, it will be Ricoh's most efficient inkjet printhead for single-pass or multi-pass applications.

High jetting accuracy is achieved using MEMS technology, while its unique print head layout produces excellent print quality even in the high gap printing required for textile and other applications. At the same time, the ink recirculation structure significantly reduces the risk of ejection failure and ensures high drop ejection stability.

Ricoh said it will continue to expand its lineup of inkjet printheads in the future to support customers' printer development and meet the needs of the industrial printing market. Main features:

1. Even if the printing gap is wide, the landing position of the ink droplets can be precisely controlled

The Ricoh TH6310F printhead adopts the unique highly integrated design of MEMS technology, and realizes a 2.6-inch print width and an array of 1,600 printheads by configuring two modules of 100 × 8 rows. It is also capable of using fine droplet jetting.

Additionally, the print head layout is designed to prevent the airflow of the ejected droplets from affecting adjacent droplets and the resulting image quality, enabling high-quality prints even at 4mm gaps.

2. Improve printing reliability through ink circulation mechanism

The ink recirculation structure continuously circulates ink behind the print heads. This structure significantly reduces the risk of print head drying, ink particle settling, and other jetting failures, ensuring jetting reliability and printhead productivity. This provides higher reliability for single-pass printing at speeds of 100m/min or higher.

3. High productivity at 600dpi multi-point injection

It can ink jet at 5/10/18pl multi-dot drive at 80kHz or 40kHz at 5pl binary drive. It also achieves high productivity at 100m+/min print speed at 600 dpi.

4. Simple Design

An in/out ink tube connection provides a simple ink delivery system for designing printers.

5. Ink Compatibility

It is compatible with all types of inks such as water-based inks, UV inks and solvent inks for a wide range of applications from textile/label to corrugated/3D.
